This Thursday the orphanage kids in Dnipropetrovsk will be arriving in Kiev for the start of a 4 day trip, involving a full schedule of events and exciting excursions.

It's been 10 years since Dnipro Kids was created by a bunch of Hibs fans who had travelled over to the Ukraine to watch their team play FC Dnipro in the Europa League qualifiers.

We got gubbed 5-1 but at least a couple of good things happened that night - Deeks got that crucial away goal lol and a charity that has helped plenty of kids over the past decade was kickstarted.

This was the Hibs lineup that night: Malkowski, Beuzelin (Fletcher 66), Caldwell, Murphy, O'Connor (Morrow 77), Riordan, Sproule, Stewart (Shiels 72), Hogg, Thomson, Whittaker.
Subs Not Used: Simon Brown, Glass, Konte, Rudge.

The one player i would really loved to have seen back at the club now is David Murphy, especially with the great squad Stubbs has out together. A great, experienced left back would have been just the ticket. Such a shame what happened to him with the injuries.
