Absolutely brilliant today, Not only the result but how me and my two boys got to the ground.
We got a bus to the Royal Mile then waited for the 35.
Met a lovely elderly couple at the bus stop. They turned out to be Hibbies on their way to the game and we got chatting about the bus being overdue.
Anyhoo, 30 minutes went by and if I recall correctly, it was about 2.30 so I made the effort to try and get a taxi. No luck at all until a lights off taxi came by and asked us all if we needed a lift to ER.
Turns out they'd spotted my youngster's Hibs top whilst at the same time seeing our plight.
The taxi was off duty and there were two Hibbies in the car. They were amazing to stop and give a random group of people lift (2 elderly with (one with a cane) and a family of 3).
They refused any payment and dropped us off as close the to the ground as they could.
I only saw the backs of their heids in the taxi so will never recognise them again so a special thanks to a couple of top blokes
Proud to be a Hibby.
Definitely.
