I described him as the guy wearing the England top as that's how people may have recognised him. And I found his antics all a bit bizarre, nowt to do with his nationality.

Because it's weird that they go and support their Scottish team whilst wearing an England strip and thumping their England badge trying to wind up fellow Scottish fans?! Likewise it would be weird if a Chelsea fan born and bred in London wore a Scotland top to their games and behaved like that. No anti English thing, they are ****ing bell ends

I used to work beside a Rangers Fan that regularly wore an England top, both at and outside of games, but had no family connections to England.

When I asked him why, he said it was because Rangers are a proper British Club and Scotland was a *****y wee country embarrassing Supporters and never win anything. In essence, he was a Scotland hater.

Now, if I ever saw somebody abusing some English guy for wearing an England Top, I would do my nut at his abuser. This, though, is really not the same thing at all, more of a case for a shrink.

There is no doubt that Rangers fans are the worst dressed supporters in Scotland. There seems to be an appeal for garish logo emblazoned items, with ill fitting sportswear a firm favourite. Even saw pensioners with cheap tracksuit trousers on. Heavy gold effect necklaces also appear to be flavour of the month.

They seem to hate being Scottish... Weird as the last time i looked it was part of Britain. What summed them up was the way their fans behaved in the aftermath of the indy referendum.. Yep that's the one, had a purple Rangers shirt on. Quite laughable how the stewards were moaning about Hibs fans swearing but that was okay because he was in the Rangers end.
