Ricardo Vaz Te returned from Turkey this summer, without a club. Currently training with Bury. Would score for fun in the championship! Not sure we could afford what he wants or he would want to come back to us and play in this league unfortunately. Would be a great signing though

This would be a Steve Archibald type signing, get it done Hibs!

The dressing room at ER is filled with a bunch of good hardworking pros, and much has been made of how it's as much to do with the character and attitude of player that will decide whether Hibs would want someone as much as how good they are.

He's an absolute ********, and for that reason there's no danger I'd want him anywhere near us.

Hard working pro's who failed to deliver promotion last season by some distance. I'm sure we could put up with his attitude for one season if he helped us go up.

We couldn't afford the petrol for his car.

Would destroy our wage structure.

Archibald was up there with Sauzee and Latapy signing . Vaz Te imo would be great but no where near the three I've mentioned .

Would rather sign McCallister from Peterhead!

Would need to give Mcallister the plumbing contract worth a punt but would he go full time

Went back to the vaz Te of old after his shoulder injury at west ham. Such a strange player. When he signed from Barnsley he was tearing the championship a new one looking like a 10 million pound player then the injuries started and he was like another Kevin Nolan. Would be a gamble if he was demanding a large wage but if he could get some form back he'd be amazing.

Vaz Te was coming back from series of knee ops when we signed him. You could see his quality, but he never got up to speed at Hibs.

His injury problems appear to be behind him, and have been for a while now. I'm not saying we could get him, but we would be daft not to bite his hand off if he offered.

He made 51 appearances for West Ham in 3 years. At a time when they were in the EPL. Plus I am sure he had a lengthy time out injured.
I am pretty sure he wouldn't have played that many games if he wasn't hard working or had an attitude problem?

Hibs don't need any more forwards. They need to strengthen the squad in defence.

We had a hard working team last season, did we get promoted? Need a goal scorer, he'd score a **** load in this division, obviously we wouldn't get him though

Well yes some distance, we got beat from the huns and they got destroyed by motherwell.

He was pants first time round. It's really not surprising that he played better after he left us given that he was surrounded by better players...

No chance would I want him back.

He signed halfway through championship promotion campaign and for me he was the player that made the difference to get west ham promoted even without the winner in play off final on that horrible day. I doubt west ham would have made the playoffs at all without him. However, he looked like he lacked any belief in the premiership straight away. And then the injuries started with a broken collarbone vs arsenal. Don't get me wrong, he had some moments but it was very much the vaz Te that that played for hibs by then. I personally wouldn't take the gamble, with 300k available to at least cover extra wages if we are to believe rumours then I'd be looking for a quality left back. The difference tavenier has made at rangers is outrageous. So far anyway.
