Southampton v Everton just kicking off. That Everton away strip is an unusual colour, I like it.

Nice moment in the warm up when a Lukaku shot hit a Southampton woman in the crowd, climbed into the stand up several rows to give her an apologetic hug.

Well done to the Saviles for winning the league today.

Seen someone put a bet on this (pre match) at 200/1 only for Cowdenbeath to score the most pointless last minute goal. Had to laugh.

Dunfermline win 7-1 today and 6-1 last week. Any gems there that we could recruit?

The boy El-Bahkatoui (sp) was excellent in pre-season when we played them. I'd happily see him in a Hibs jersey.

He's scored 8 in the last 4 games, 2 per game. Get this guy signed, surely it's a no brainer.

Didn't realise they had won 4-1, 5-1, 6-1, 7-1 in successive games. The 5-1 and 7-1 were both vs Cowdenbeath, ouch!

Been saying it for a few weeks - Dunfermline looking very good - showed it in preseason against us!

We should be looking at several of there players - especially the goal scorers !! Wouldn't be a huge move for anyone signing.

Dos Santos squares a chip and Robbie Keane scores his second for the LA Galaxy to go 2.1 up against FC Dallas.

Well done to the Saviles for winning the league today.

Its interesting, in all the hype over their 4 match winning streak - and it is a good run - there has been little said about their general play.

I understand against Saints their defence was leaky, the game v Dundee could have gone either way, Motherwell just capitulated, and Ross County apparently played very well and a draw might have been fairer, esp as hearts might have had someone sent off.

I actually think some teams are currently sh****g themselves against what is a big strong team, and they will have a storming first quarter.

I think they might drop off a bit toward Christmas once teams work them out.

Its been said before, there is only one team that will win this league, and it will be by a canter again, regardless of the BBC pundits talking up Aberdeen and the jambos chances.

Was listening to the radio on way back home from EasterRoad yesterday .most commentators had predicted a hard game for Hearts ,and while praising their win ,they all commented that they need to tighten up at the back ,as they are vulnerable .they got the early goals and Ross County were a better match for them second half .
But they are grinding out results just now and that breeds confidence .Will be interested to see how they get on against Celtic and Aberdeen ,but third place could be realistic for them if they strengthen before Transfer Window closes .
But you could be right ,once teams have Sussed them out they may find it harder .

With St Jiohnstone ,Inverness Caley and Dundee United looking like they won't be the same force they were last season ,the need to get off to a winning start start is something Hearts will have been working on ,so hard to knock them .

Anyway enough about them ,we still need to work out our best team ,and find consistency ,and some drive and urgency .Twenty Shots ,11 on Target ,but only one goal , that's something we need to improve on as Morton had one gilt edged chance to take the lead and didn't take it and the Ox thankfully made a couple of point blank saves .
The defence is still shaky and next week at Ibrox will be a big test to see how we cope .Hopefully we rise to the occasion and get a result that blows the title race wide open again
