Oxley..4 been done to death already
Hanlon..5 off day for both CBS
Gray .. 6 average at best
Stevenson..7 offered the best outlet
Bartley..6 not the type of player we needed today
Fyvie..4 poor and ineffective today
Martin..6 looked bright in spells
Allan..7 everything positive went through him
Cummings .. 5 never happened for Jason today
Malonga..6.5 good goal and another one well saved only guy that looked like scoring

All imo of course and the numbers are more compared to each other than actually out of ten I suppose

Oxley 5 - Nothing to do, not sure if he was to blame for 2nd.

Gray 5- Tried hard but looks a yard off his pace from last season.

Stevenson 2- Crossing was horrific throughout yet again, and that shot at the end was laughable. We need a left back big time.

Fontaine 2- Poor throughout, missed a header from 6 yards out to make it 2-2.

Hanlon-3 - Was given the run around from two journeyman.

Bartely 4- Doesn't look fit, slowed the game down.

Fyvie 1- Worst player on the pitch, touch was poor, looked so slow and unfit. Should of been taken off.

Martin 5- Worked hard, should of stayed on.

Allan 6 - Terrific in first half, faded out of the 2nd.

Cummings 5 Couldn't get into the game, should of stayed on as he habit of being at the right place at right time.

Malonga 6 Great finish, could of scored in 2nd half when clean thru.

Stanton- Couldn't get into it
McGinn- Looked great when he came on, looked sharp, good passing.
Boyle- Should of scored, but no real time to make impact.

Oxley - 4. 1 good save, shocking wall set up and positioning for the 2nd.

Gray - 3. Up there with his worst performances in a Hibs shirt.

Hanlon - 4. Never comfortable with the physicality of Dumbartons forward line.

Fontaine - 4. See Hanlon.

Stevenson - 4. Got in a few good positions, tried hard, final ball was murder.

Bartley - 4. Clumsy and off the pace. Few good tackles though.

Martin - 6. Worked hard, had one good chance, got in a few good positions. Was surprised see him subbed so early.

Allan - 5. Plenty commitment, few flashes but too much wanting it to be the Scott Allan show and too many over elaborate attempts when good options were available.

Fyvie - 2. God knows what was up with him. Slow and ponderous, lost possession countless times. Worst game in a Hibs shirt.

Malonga - 6. Good goal, should have had a 2nd. Dropped deep to try and get involved.

Cummings -5. Never really got into the game today.

Intersesting comments about Fyvie. I think hes been slow and ponderous since he signed generally and have been amazed at the hype surrounding him.

We need better.

Oxley - (4) - Horrific positioning for the 2nd goal and didn't command his box for the 1st. A good save in first half gives him a generous 4.

Gray - (3) - Easily his worst Hibs performance. Looked a yard slow.

Fontaine - (4) - Struggled to handle the Dumbarton forward which is worrying. Didn't win a header all day until he missed a sitter from 3 yards out.

Hanlon - (4) - Didn't win anything today and was positionally suspect at times. Just pretty poor.

Stevenson - (2) - All over the shot and his distribution was criminal. Wasted a good opportunity at the end by needlessly punting it out. Made a career off one game in 2007. Left back needed.

Bartley - (5) - Battled well and had to cover for his fellow midfielders. Slowed play down a bit too much, though.

Fyvie - (1) - His worst game in a Hibs shirt by a mile. Passing was woeful and mistimed absolutely everything from headers to tackles.

Allan - (6) - Worked his socks off today. Was superb in the first half but faded towards the end. Played some wonderful passes to Cummings and Malonga who are like a couple of statues.

Martin - (5) - Worked hard for the team today. Tenacious in the middle but distribution was off at times.

Malonga - (5) - Scored a good goal and dropped in deep to try and get involved but after that, he was hopeless. His movement is absolutely shocking.

Cummings - (3) - First touch was laughable and his movement was poor. Not like Jase lately.

Subs:

Stanton - (5) - Huffed and puffed but just doesn't have that quality.

McGinn - (7) - Only shining light from today. Looked very good when he came on.

Boyle - Not enough time.

A minority of the fans:

Fickle and embarrassing. Fighting amongst each other like a bunch of hard men and cowards. As for the ones who booed Allan, I'd rather they just stayed away. Don't help anyone and just want to stick out and be the centre of attention. Cringeworthy.

Wasn't at the game ,but overall the comments are depressing Gray and Fyfie both have really poor games when we have made it clear we needed to be up for this first game .Stevenson s final ball does seem to be causing concern recently , Cummings not really in the game and both centre backs not coping with physicality of Dumbarton forwards .ox maybe at fault for second
Bartley off pace probably to be expected till he gets match fit But overall this paints a not great picture Really not what we were expecting ,hard to work out why it was an inept performance ,when Stubbs was working on hitting the ground running in this first game
Lots to get sorted for the Morton game by the sound of it

Difficult to disagree with much of that.

The back 4 were shocking. Again. Gray didn't look himself. Stevensons delivery was its usual poor at best.

Bartley was miles off it. Fyvie had his worst game for Hibs.

Stubbs needs to come up with some answers in the next few weeks because the same things that were issues last year are still issues now.

Oxley - 4. One good save but always looks like throwing one in and his organisation of the wall for the free kick winner would have been done better by a child.

Gray - 3. Horrific performance and easily his worst since joining

Fontaine - 4. Bullied and looks slow

Hanlon - 5. Bullied but was left isolated. Worked hard and looked exasperated with others.

Stevensoj - 4. Couldn't hit a barn door woeful crossing

bartley - 4. Poor. Too slow and game passed him by.

Fyvie - 3. Not sure what was up here?!

Allan - 7. Worked tirelessly and only player worth his salt.

Martin - 5 Didn't look out of place at all and worked hard.

Cummings - 3. Woeful from him but taking him off for Stanton was embarassing

Malonga - 6. Worked hard took his goal well and showed some decent touches

subs wise Stanton didnt do much, Boyle didn't have time and McGinn looked quite good.

We need better.

Said something similar after the Rangers match, ball watches constantly and stands off player. We need midfielder's to boss matches not stand watching until they get the ball.

Oxley- 3 never confident when the ball comes in his area, not helped by the defence but poor for both goals IMO

Gray-3 dreadful, looked slow, off the pace, rusty. Looks like he's not had a pre season at all

Hanlon-5 did ok in the second half, poor and too slow when on the ball and doesn't win enough 50/50s

Fontaine- 4 another one that looked unfit was given the run around by a part time journeyman striker, missed a sitter at the end.

Stevenson- 2 dreadful, need a new left back ASAP. Seems incapable of delivering a decent cross.

Martin-5 did ok put in 100% and never shirked a tackle, should have scored and passing was inconsistent.

Fyvie- 0 passing was poor, positioning was poor, never got forward, slowed down the play, looked unfit. What has he been doing pre season?

Bartley- 2 pointless performance, not match fit, slowed the play down. Gave away a needless free kick that lead to the goal.

Allan-4 good first half, toiled in the second half when the fans got on his back. Have to expect that after the way he's acted this summer though.

Cummings- 5 poor first touch, got in to a couple of decent positions but the final ball to him tended to be poor! Should never have been took off as he's most likely to get a goal.

Malonga- 6 good goal but what chance does he have against two big bruising centre halfs and no service at all. Need the ball into his feet.

Stanton- 2 poor, not a striker.

McGinn- 6 good range of passing, raised the tempo should have came on earlier.

Boyle -1 came on too late and in the wrong position.
