I fully expect complaints from people that want to sit with their mates but can't get seats together... because they have different numbers of Loyalty Points and the ones with the higher number don't want to wait a couple of days and possibly miss out on tickets.

Every game went to general sale apart from the playoff . and I wasn't talking about just ibrox I was referring to all away games. Tommorow is a good example of how it will go this year as I thought I had no chance of getting a ticket. Like I said though IMO everyone who wants a ticket will get one

For Ibrox? Your probably right about all the other games but Ibrox will sell out. Missed out on tickets last season so its not always a case of everyone who wants a ticket gets a ticket.

Only thing that annoys me about the loyalty points is that I am being punished for not being able to afford a season ticket last year. even although I couldn't afford one I still paid too go to every home game except livi at home before Christmas which is all on hibs's database, so instead off getting the 150 points for a full season ticket I only got 75 as I got one for my Christmas. I went to almost every game last season and have 225 loyalty points at the moment, so therefore if I was giving the loyalty points for the first half off the season I would be up in the top bracket for every game. But now I must hope that I get a ticket for every game.

It's no really a punishment to be fair. In fact, it's no a punishment at all. How many other fans couldn't afford a season ticket?

Not the fact I couldn't afford the season ticket. The fact I still went to the games and its on the hibs data base that I did so and probably for many others, so why not add the loyalty point for they games?

Ill still be at the majority off games this season as for example, tomorrow was able to get a ticket on general sale and that was only 700 tickets. only game I will struggle for is ibrox, and lets be honest I wont lose any sleep any going there.

I would agree that whilst it had to start some time the allocation by points could have been introduced after the earning points part had bedded in.

There wasn't much clarity when the scheme started and some changes have been made for this year.

As it stands it is rewarding people over a small number of games when the rules weren't really known. There is a danger that it perpetuates that advantage by that group also being guaranteed a shot at picking up further points.

I think most of it is academic as demand won't be huge in any case for most games but then again why do we need a scheme then?

Not against the general principle of the scheme but when introducing something the reason should be clear and the rules of how it operates should be clear and consistent.

Interesting - does anyone know whether the numbers are cumulative or additional? If each group is distinct then we have nearly 30,000 names on our database.

If they are simply expanding the groups each time, then having just over 9,000 is very dissapointing.

Have we still not managed to suss out how a LOYALTY system works yet? I thought we had got to the bottom of it. In saying that I thought it was straightforward anyway.

700c supporter's have 374+ points, 1700c supporter's have 370+ points. (This 1700 includes the 700 in the first bracket), this continues going forward. Looks like we have 9,200 supporter's with some level of points. (This should alleviate some level of problems, when it comes to who "deserves" a Cup Final ticket this season when we reach the League and Scottish Cup Finals.)

I read it as culminated no? We have around 7000 season ticket holders so that would match up with the 7200 who have 180+ points.

People who bought season ticket 4 or 5 years ago won't be included as having points.

Got 3 of mine today! I personally think it's an absolute disgrace if we fail to sell 700 tickets for the first league encounter with our title rivals! All this doom and gloom yet people forget we were 2nd bottom when we went to Ibrox last year and won 3-1. Now I know Rangers have improved but so have Hibs, we just haven't hit full stride and hopefully with the addition of Keatings etc to the squad against Rangers, we can give it a right good go! :flag

That's terrible. Should have sold out first few days. Can't wait to see if there's a playoff again. Will get a ticket no problem judging by the sales to date.

Only got ours today as I was waiting on my son becoming eligible and didn't fancy sitting on our own.

It's not terrible. There will be loads of people who want tickets but can't get them until the general sale. I had to wait until the Friday before buying as I didn't want to sit on my own.

I wouldn't exactly call it terrible. I'm sure there's quite a lot of people that were simply holding off buying, for a number of reasons.

On reason could well be that some people want to sit with a group and they're not all on the same number of points. Quite a lot of people seem to decide that they're going at the last minute.

I think we'll take a decent support, possibly even sell out. If we don't, it's not exactly the end of the world.

It's not terrible. Having too many loyalty bands slows down the sale of tickets. The club should be thinking again about that one.

When do tickets go on General sale or go on sale to those who only have 23 loyalty points?

I went to Ibrox 3 times, Tynecastle twice and then Alloa, Raith and a number of Home Games. Strange why none of them counted towards my total of Loyalty Points.

Unlikely to be a playoff as either us or the huns will win the league. I had to wait until Saturday to buy ours due to the loyalty points for someone I am going with being lower than my own. Our tickets will sell out, its just taking a bit longer due to the way they are being sold

I'd imagine the tickets are only on sale to people on the DB, so in that sense yes, but you should be able to buy as a group as long as you have everybody's Reference Numbers.

To be fair only Hibs games i normally miss are away to Celtic and The Rangers...i refuse to go as the treatment of away fans is a disgrace in both venues. im sure there are many other Hibs fans who also feel this way so not that surprising it hasnt sold out as yet

Does anyone know of a bus going through that picks up in the portobello area? There used to be a bus that picked up at the Kings Manor hotel, I think it was the Milton Mowbray, but I can't find any contact details for them.

I'm sure the MM bus usually have notices on .net for matches, don't they? Start a thread LB, and I'm sure someone will contact you.

As for Ibrox, are we all ready for a friendly Glasgow welcome? And let's remind them of their cringeworthy Scott Allan songs at ER.

Scottish (Strathclyde) Police and Stephen (I'm a blue nose) House will surely make sure we will be safe in the ground and leaving it after our win on Sunday.

A nice welcome will be in order no doubt.

Monday was sale for 30+ points.

Today is the general sale for people with less than that....Only surprise is that the two ticketed away games so far have taken so long to sell out.....

It's no surprise, they introduced too many bands for this one. A strange decision given that the previous game went to general sale as well.

I meant that those in the top two bands, you would imagine go to most games, but we struggle to sell out our first two away games.....

I'm surprised too. However it's been a really expensive 1st month or so. With those not wealthy enough to afford cup top up😀.
I've got mine, but the supporters have had 3 away friendly games, Petrofac and League cup, plus Dumbarton and Rangers away. Also just about to buy my Stranraer cup tickets. All this on top of my season ticket! That's upto 8 games on top of travel costs

I'm not too surprised to be honest.

I think we will end up selling our allocation by the end of the week but attending a game at Ibrox as a Hibs fan isn't everyone's idea of fun.

Unless the game is of really high importance, like a Scottish Cup game or the play off match last season, it's unlikely that our allocation for Ibrox would ever sell out within a couple of days.

Exactly why a loyalty scheme was put in place, so that regular attendees don't miss out in "important" or "big" games.
