Really

I remember reading on here a "story" about a gypsy placing a curse on the club until the reintroduced the Harp to the Main Stand after taking it off back in the 1900's. Obviously a load of dug meat, but who knows...

Did they reintroduce it? I can't remember. If not, that could explain a lot.

Harp was there until the 1950s.

Is this not a resurrection of proposals that Glorious St Pat raised on here a few months back? Some whacky ideas were floated around. Harp city from what I recall.

I was part of the group involved in it, was a nice process to get involved with. Bit of debate over fonts, what it said, which harp, thread colour, hope you like the end result.

I'm the same but I like the top too. Doesn't quite top the 134th birthday version but it's braw nonetheless.

Did the redesign of the badge not coincide with the 125th anniversary? Sure that was the case.

Not sure about a 100th anniversary strip but I know there was a lot of events to mark it, as there should have been of course.

You could well be right about the badge, as it might have been about that time it was changed.

I would ask my Dad about the 100th Anniversary but the mid 70s was just a vague, alcohol coloured haze to him. Even 15 years of being tee-total don't seem to have brought the memories back. Let that be a warning to all you young folks out there

I thought there would have been more info out about this by now. Ramp up some excitement for people buying it. Release it on match day and get punters in on the day too.

Replica strips in 1925 Edinburgh ? Very lucky if families had food. My grandmother did not have shoes until her wedding day. Before that she had boots from Edinburgh Corporation Poor Relief with "not for pawn" stamped on them. Times and life was hard.

The new badge was launched for 99-00 season with the classic round collared le coq strip. Not sure if that was just all coincidence though that it was in our 125th year.

Strange badge on the 50's-60's top. Involving a harp, shamrock, fish and castle. Never previously witnessed on any Hibs top of that era.

The retro top looks good, I'm sure it will sell well. I had one with a harp on it years ago, from Thomsons and I remember a cracking rugby style top with a lovely harp on it during the 90's.

Will we ever do one with the hoops? Not sure, but a part of me thinks why not, first to wear the green and the hoops gives us the right, we can save that one for our 150th retro range though.
