Nice touch! Did we do that for the team that we played last Saturday?

To be fair their fans cannot read so would have been pointless anyway :)

It would be good if we did this for the fans of every club that visits Easter Road this season, except Sevco (or Hearts and Celtic too if we happen to get either of them in the cups).

Childish but funny. :greengrin

We shouldn't be welcoming any teams that comes to play against us at ER.

Next thing we know we will be clapping them of the pitch. :greengrin

We should also be turning off the hot water in the away changing room.

What??? We give the other team a changing room? Too nice as always, Hibs. We let them park their bus, can they not change in there? Petrie!!!!!

This. Turn Easter Road into a fortress, but first give a nice warm welcome to the visitors :tee hee:

Think it is good to encourage supporters of away clubs to come.

There is nothing worse than Easter Road when there are 50 or 100 away supporters as it makes the atmosphere really flat and there is no banter. Would let them bring a drum as well and it is then up to us to add to the home noise.

Cant see them bringing more than 400. This is a team that finished bottom of the Scottish leagues last season and only escaped relegation to the highland league via a playoff.

Don't expect them to even bring that many but the principle of Hibs encouraging fans of other teams to come is good. The atmosphere will be better if more away supporters are there.

Fortress Easter Road.

But be nice to the away fans. :greengrin

Yep, encourage them to come along and part with their hard earned cash at ER rather than at another away game. Then dish out a footballing lesson to them and watch them head off early. Being "nice" to them and encouraging them to ER is fine as long as our fans get vocal and out sing them and the team out plays the away team too.

No, but their fans weren't welcome because of their behaviour.

That would be a terrific turnout for them, would it not? Their home gates must be around that mark.

I think we should be allowing away fans into behind the goals this season with the obvious exception of rangers fans , there is no rivalry between any of the championship clubs on a scale where there will be trouble and it could bring us in a few extra quid

BTG isn't open for our own fans who are not season ticket holders so it would probably be better if we thought of our own fans first!

We should also be turning off the hot water in the away changing room.We should get one of them metal mickey things for away sides and site it between the south and west.
