The Rangers have cancelled the contract (http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/13502591.Rangers_director_takes_club_coach_contrac t_after_bus_firm_sacked/?action=success#comments) with the provider of their team bus, and the contract has been given instead to Parks of Hamilton.

Mr Park just happens to be a new Director at The Rangers....... Pure coincidence, obviously.

Oh and the Police are still no further forward with their investigations into the burning of the The Rangers team coach, owned by Bruce's Coaches two years ago.

Sorry to ask, but why is this news on a Hibs Messageboard?

Should've been on the Rangers thread.

Indeed.

Also, Rangers have been on and off with Parks of Hamilton for at least 28 years. I remember going to Tannadice with a DUFC-supporting friend in 1987 to see them play old hun and their team bus then was Parks.

Exciting, eh?

Should've been on the Rangers thread.

Which one? A new one about them or their players seem to appear on a daily basis.

Not surprising. Private transport in the West of Scotland is organised along the lines of the Ice Cream van industry. Also not surprised that nobody at Bruce's was available for comment.

It was a matter related to the goings-on at a rival football club. There have been lots of similar posts on DotNet, some even more trivial than this. The post is also clearly marked as No Hibs Content (NHC).

My presumption was that if the Admins found it too trivial a matter, they would just merge it into the Rangers thread (with which I would be quite happy)

Sorry if I have offended any sensitive souls.
