According to rangers new striker, Martin waghorn (who played for Wigan in friendly against us).

Get this up on the dressing room wall Stubbs. I can tell my hatred of them is going to reach new heights this season.

Martin Waghorn (who?) calls others basic and nothing special. Aye okay. He thinks he's joined Barcelona.

I regularly went to see Wigan over the last few years, so Id say theres a sense of irony in those comments from a player like Waghorn.

Its a daft thing for him to come out and say anyway. As suggested in the first post, it just gives something for Stubbs to show our players.

Another who is trying to appease the masses. He looked average himself, maybe he thinks he has turned into Ronaldo since joining the bigots?

Martin Waghorn, a striker who averages a goal every 6 games, describes us as nothing special?

Irony.

If he continues dropping down through the levels he might eventually get nearer a strikers return.

Wigan did well last season - success seems to follow this boy around

Yep. Nothing motivates a player more than being disrespected by a fellow pro. So we have Scotty Allan and that's it?! I'm sure that will go down well with the likes of Fontaine! And what's this "we are Rangers" pish they all keep coming out with?? I'm sure saying stuff like that will have the masses cummin in there pants but how cringey??

Who? Some absolute nobody calling US "nothing special", hahaha aye ok son :aok:

A lot of arrogance and digs coming out of the huns at the moment. Fine by me, we've seen how all thats come back and bit them on the arse before. Let them start giving it large and getting over cocky.

I presume this is based on the one bounce game he played in against us. He no doubt thinks Real Sociedad's recent 0 - 0 draw with St Johnstone is a measure of that club. A future manager of the year by the sound of it :faf:

Sorry but who the hell is Martyn Waghorn?

I'm assuming from the previous posts on this thread that this nobody is a recent signing of Scotland's newest football club and will be playing against us on Saturday?

If so, I hope Liam Fontaine goes right through him in the first five minutes and sends him into next week.

Welcome to Easter Road ya fanny. :aok:

No team in our league is 'anything special', he's just playing up to the new sounds of hope coming out of Ibrox, just ignore him. Never heard of him anyway, could easily come back to bite him and his rancid club.

Meanwhile he's playing for a team that finished 3rd in the second tier of one of the worst leagues in Europe.

Gid one pal.

I have no idea of the context in which he used these comments but that description is fine by me.

There are several reasons why old Rangers went bust and why new rangers didn't walk away with the league last year. Two of them were that they were petrified of being basic and thought they were something special.

We should take all these cheap shots and insulting bids as a compliment. They know we will be formidable and are worried sick that we will run away with it.
