There was a big delay last time, because they underestimated how many Hibbies would turn up, so hopefully they've learned from that.

Always worth getting to the ground early as seems we always take a good support.

A nice little away trip usually and I hope fans do make the short trip.

At least they appear to be opening the 2 stands to begin with this time rather than waiting to see how many fill behind the goals.

Seems the team will be wearing the new purple "away" kit for this game. Looks good.

According to that report, they're only opening one stand for Away Fans but two for Home Fans.

Looks like we are getting behind the goals only. The Norrie McCathy stand is the one opposite.

Stephens the bakers do the catering at East End, steak bakes are amazing.

I'm playing football in Edinburgh at 1 and then straight back over for the game as it's just along the road from me, hope I don't miss too much of the game. Can see us having a good support over for this 👍

Oh! I read it wrong. Thats NOT good then. If its a nice day, we'll fill that stand no bother.

There's parking just off Townhill road, on Leys Park Road, then its just a couple of minutes walk from there.

The single Stand allocated to Hibs Fans holds 3,000. I think we took more than that the last time.

If they have any common sense, they'll allow Hibs Supporters to go in the east half of the Main Stand, which was really empty the last time.

Keekaboo, hopefully they'll have learned from before, and have a provision for the other stand to open, if needed

Used to be my local but moved to east end inn in nearby Touch.

Lizzie is the most convenient pub but new management killing it, as per the ibrox play off they weren't aware any football was on and had one person behind the bar, carnage. Hope they're more clued up come Saturday.

Dunfermline away is my favourite away fixture. I have a lot of friends and family who are Pars fans or linked to the club in some way so it is like a derby for me.

I'm sure and not alone but gets on my nerves though that they never seem to be able to cater for the large Hibs travelling support that we always take. If the sun is shining on Saturday (and even if it is not) then I predict chaos as they work out what to do with the extra few thousand football-starved Hibs fans who have gone along only to find that Dunfermline are woefully underprepared by way of stewards/ turnstiles/ seats/ steak brides etc etc.

It might be an idea if everybody tried to arrive at the Stadium as early as possible, so they can work out sooner if they have to open the other Stand.

DISCLAIMER: I realise it's entirely within everybody's rights to arrive late if they so wish and that some people won't be able to arrive any sooner under any circumstances.

For some reason, I just don't see us filling that stand on this occasion.

I reckon we'll fill most of it but I don't see there being a problem like there was before when the police and stewards had to escort people across pitchside to reach the other stand.

We get the usual East Stand which holds 3000.

Would be great if we could get close to filling it :aok:

Decent money maker for the Pars.

I hope they open a second stand for us, last time was a shambles.

I recall going there late 2005 for a league match and going into the stand behind the goals. That was jam packed with Hibs fans so we had to make our way around the pitch (While the game was being played) to the stand at the side of the pitch. Garry O scored the winner from a Sproule cross that night.

Shambles it was.

This is as close to a home game that you could get (apart from Tynie) and we've been starved of football for almost two months so no reason that we can't fill the one stand and maybe more.
