Looking at the squad as it stands, only Farid and Malonga count as non British players. Is this the most British squad we've had since the 90s?

Without any real thought, Mowbray's team must be close (esp the 1st year).

Don't event think AO started too often. Boozy was the only one I could think of!

Just off the top of my head, the team lined up something like - Simon Brown; Whittaker, Caldwell, Murdock, Murphy; Shiels, Scott Brown, Boozy, Glass; O'Connor, Riordan.

Murdock left and Chris Hogg came in; Rocastle was a first-choice until he went back to Chelsea; Tony Murray, Sammy Morrow, Ivan, and Gary Smith played a good few games IIRC.

Rocastle was from Grenada; Orman was from Austria; Konte was from Mali; and of course Boozy was French. They were the only non-UK players in the squad that first season that I can recall.
