The dead pastor is to blame for the Charleston massacre!

What an absolute lunatic, so had the people in the church all had their own guns then only 2 or 3 people would have died before they were able to kill the shooter themselves rather than 8 innocent people being slaughtered.
How about you just don't make it so easy or culturally acceptable for people to have guns capable of causing this type of massacre, then nobody has to die.

Give the guy some credit, Mr Radge.
At least he took his pointy hood off for the photo.
And speaking as one who spends most Sunday mornings in front of a congregation, the thought that most (or ANY) of them might be carrying a firearm into the church - even for personal protection - would NOT fill me with the peace that passes understanding. I think I'd be looking for a Kevlar cassock, myself. And a fully-enclosed, bullet-proof pulpit.
If I understand the case aright, a young white man went to a prayer-meeting in an AME (African Methodist Episcopal) Church, pulled out a gun, and shot nine people, four ministers (one of whom was a State Senator) and five women aged from 26 to 87. Mercifully, no one else was killed
This happened in Charleston, South Carolina. The pastor (upon whom Cotton lays the whole responsibility for the murders) was campaigning for Hilary Clinton to be adopted as Democratic candidate for the White House next time around.
Shockingly, Pastor Pinckney considered it a bad idea to allow people to carry firearms into church services, into restaurants, and into daycare centres. Can you believe that? After all, nothing shows you care about your children's future as much as walking into the community playgroup with your M-16 and your .44 Magnum. Except maybe a couple of hand-grenades and a land-mine?
Maybe I'm wrong, but I think it's a lot more likely that Dear Dylann is a nasty young white supremacist pecker-wood good ol' boy with a head full of 'Lost Cause' Confederate claptrap, a burning hatred of African Americans, and far too easy access to handguns, shotguns, semi-automatics and all the other labour-saving machinery guaranteed to him by the efforts of Cotton and his slimy associates in the NRA.
I mean - white guy goes into an African-American Church in South Carolina and starts killing the congregation.
Who ever heard of such a thing happening before?

I'm not a fan of Piers Morgan but at least he has tried to take the NRA, and the US in general, to task about their gun culture.
It's a fundamental reason why I would never want to live there.
