Premiersports MIGHT be free for virgin customers this summer. Sure I read it somewhere, might even have been here, just not sure where lol.

Games are also being streamed for free on youtube and bet365 website without placing a bet and if you have an xbox one also being streamed on xbox live !!

Noticed this yesterday. Looked on their Twitter, it's free for the duration of the copa America so until August.

The Stanley cup final is also on at the moment so watching that too!! Loving it!

It's not availabile on YouTube or through the Xbox in the UK. They are blocked due to premier sports exclusive deal.

Premier sports paid a good chunk of cash for the rights so it's fair enough that they don't want people accessing the matches for free.

I've been watching it on YouTube no bother. Foreign commentary but one or two live streams.

They will likely be getting money from Virgin based on the number of subscribers in the XL package. In effect, you're paying for it out of the money you pay to Virgin. This way, they get money regardless of whether you watch, which guarantees them a certain pot of money.

Its only free on the XL package which is the top and most expensive package. I would imagine that they have negotiated some deal with virgin to show it for a limited time on this package for a fee.

HibeesLA has answered it pretty much perfectly. It adds on to they folk on sky and virgin not on XL package that have paid for the channel. Its supplemeting their income already recieved by additional subscriptions due to them broadcasting the tournament.

Yup thats true do get those free. Not sure, but not complaining!!
