Very sad to read Sir Christopher Lee has passed away at the age of 93.

One of the finest British actors who's work has transcended generations of classic films - from his role as Scaramange in "The Man With the Golden Gun", to Saruman in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, to Count Dooku in the new Star Wars films and his classic roles as Dracula and The Creature in "The Curse of Frankenstein".

An absolute gentleman to boot too and it's been a joy to observe his work on screen :agree:

sadly Ron Moody has passed away as well(91) better known as Fagin in the Film version of Oliver, and Christopher Lee certainly gave me a few scary moments all those years ago

Ron Moody? How sad. Oliver was a great film in the 60s. Wonderful soundtrack and choreography.

I didn't realise he was 93. Fantastic actor who was just perfect for certain roles.

Actually I think Oliver was possibly the best British film of the 60s.

Starred in some of my favourite films like The Wicker man and The Devil Rides out. Thanks for all the scares Sir Christopher, rest in peace.

I have my cross, holy water and garlic handy just in case you don't http://www.hibs.net/images/smilies/not%20worthy.gif
