What is he actually on about in those quotes?

He'll get laughed out the hustings and rightly so.

Liked this in the local paper:

'Former Notts County defender to run for Mayor of London' (http://www.nottinghampost.com/Wicked-Whispers-Notts-County-defender-run-Mayor/story-26657094-detail/story.html)

Sol Campbell played precisely one game for Notts County!

Can't wait to see him out on the stump in Tottenham High Road.

Personally,I hope the next Mayor of London is a descendant of Guy Fawkes. At least his forefather knew what was best for the country ;-)

If he were running solely alongside George ****ing Galloway, he'd get my vote!

Fawkes was rabidly anti-Scots.

When asked by one of the lords what he was doing in possession of so much gunpowder, Fawkes answered that his intention was "to blow you Scotch beggars back to your native mountainS."

So I hope the next mayor is not like Guy Fawkes as I make a decent living here.

Okay, so Parliamentarians didn't/don't see him as all bad

Absolutely. That said, there's very few politicians or even public figures I'd vote for behind GG

Eh!? I thought Campbell hated establishment parties? He's changed his tune. GG for mayor.

I'd even consider voting for Robert Mugabe and Kim Jong-un before George Galloway.
