Hibees of a certain vintage may remember the clown and the wolfman holding up tourist buses doing a modern day Robin Hood.

Anyway a few Hibees featured - the wee boy who nicked something out of the joke shop, the two hi see that broke through the police cordon towards the end with P&D Windows? Tops and waving a Scotland flag. Any of them you or mates of yours - were you in the crowd?

noticed that it will be on Again next weekend at the open air screenings form the EIFF

Great film. I love the contact lens scene.

One of my favourite films. It wasn't me, but I tell you what...in their final trip, as they go towards Princes Street, I know the guy in the white coat selling balloons on the corner. :greengrin

What a film. So many great quotes. "Have you been selling any more of that nasty sugar to ma wee Angus?"

Another pointless story: in 1992, I did two weeks work experience at STV and part of that involved being on the set of Take the High Road. And who should walk in on the first day of course, but Teri Lally. On the first filming break, I walked up to her with a paper bag full of Pandrops, offered them to her and said, imitating Will's voice in the film "Would you like a mint? They're extra strong". She laughed and said "Jesus, that was ages ago!" I had a nice wee chat with her. I told her the film might not be as low profile as she imagined. Still love the film today.

It's good to see where I stay and have grown up over the years in that film.

Sadly, the "wee boy" who is always going into the joke shop, died last year.

I'm sure I remember having some of the prop notes that was thrown off the bike down Clovie Road.
A few of the scenes were at my mates bit in Murrayburn Pk.
Great film.
