I am attending an exhibition in the Radisson Hotel in Niddrie St Just off North Bridge tomorrow and i have quite a bit of kit to decant in the morning.
Too much to carry for the train so i am hoping to take the car and park in Edinburgh then get a taxi with my gear to the hotel.
Where would be the best place to do this ? I dont want to park in a multistorey as i wont be able to carry all the gear.
Are there taxi ranks in the Park and Ride ?
Cheers

Are there no loading bays nearby? I'm sure there are and you have every right to use them

There are loading bays but I don't want to have to wait then find a parking space then go back to get the car etc.
I would just rather park somewhere and grab a taxi.
Cheers though

Why don't you park as close as it is free then? Possibly somewhere down from commy pool and then just phone a taxi to get you from there would probably be your cheapest bet

Milton st, waverley park, tytler gardens or spring gardens is the closest free parking to that side of town. Lots of competition for spaces in the morning though.
