Also new club captain.

What's the difference between club and team captain, or is it the same?

I played with David before he went to man u, great to see him get a contract, done excellent for us and a really nice guy to boot. Hopefully injuries are kinder to him from now on

Would have thought it's the same, just going by the statement.

It's meant to be much the same but last season showed that you could have a club captain that doesn't get into the team.

For example, if Gray were to get injured he'd remain club captain but in his absence someone else would have to be team captain.

You would normally expect, when fit to do so that your club captain would play pretty much every minute of every game.

That's what I immediately thought when I saw the "club captain" bit.

Although both Gray and Fontaine captained the side in Craig's absence, it did seem to go to Gray over Fontaine whenever he was fit, so it may not mean that.

Gray was vice captain this season. Fontaine took the armband when neither Craig nor Gray were playing.

Epic signing news - Alan is building something very special here. A yam spell of prep will see us romp the league and come up very strong indeed
