Does anyone know if the club plan to decrease the player budget again this season?

Stubbs said recently that he's been told the budget will be the same as this season.

I don't know but they've just approached to see if I want a game in goals next season.

Parachute funds and as long as ST sales stay roughly the same then I do not see why.

The parachute funds took into 2nd year as well from recollection?

IIRC, it's £250k in the second year.

There is also the share money to consider.

Taking out membership of HSL will also boost funds.

It's not the budget I'm concerned about. It's persuading players to commit to another season down here I think will be the issue.

I think the players will stay, expecially if we can offer good enough terms. Needs season tickets and shares sold though.

I don't think that's going to be too much of an issue tbh, they all seem to love playing for Stubbs so I think he'll be able to convince them to give it one more go.

Players may want to play at a higher league but if the wage and bonuses are ok, the team is winning and they're enjoying their football, then they will stsy for at least another year.
