Good job for Ian. A full time team. Only problem is they have been up For sale for so long can they invest in players?

Well done Ian - can't wish him good luck if we lose tomorrow though. :greengrin

Sensible move. Couldn't do much more at Dumbarton and takes over a team that should make the playoffs next season.

Going by the turnout at his testimonial, you don't seem alone there?

I thought his decade long testimonial events took the piss tbh. Also thought it was poor that it was like pulling teeth getting an answer regarding how much was going to charity.

Liked him as a player for us though so good luck to him.

This. I'm not a fan of testimonials. Not with the money players are making and an already congested fixture list. Doesn't mean I don't want him to succeed.

The work he has done at Dumbarton is quite underrated. Keeping them in this division with some of the full time teams he has had to compete with is quite an achievement. Like him or not it is a step up well earned.

Good luck to him. Gotta say his career is going well, seeing as he's only 34. Could become a top, top manager as they say... maybe even good enough for us one day.

With the threat of another year in the Championship hanging over us, I can't bring myself to wish one of our potential main opponents 'good luck'. Sorry Ian but if we're up against your new club I hope you are not at the races. Good luck the following year, 'tho. :greengrin
