divided by the number of players.
That’s it.


Given that Hibs don't show their playing staff's wages in their accounts, I'd be interested in knowing how they arrive at that amount.

It looks like guesswork to me. The total wage bill (in 2013; I don't have 2014 to hand) was £4m. Sharing that amongst 60 players and coaches gives about £60k each..... and that's without paying the 20 admin staff. :greengrin

They do say that it's based on "first-team" players. Without asking them individually, I don't see how they could know.

It's difficult to see where they could get the information from, without asking every player in every team.

I believe that we could have had the 3rd highest wage bill in the league last season, but there's no way our average weekly players wage was just under £2,000 per week. That's closer to the top weekly wage than the average.
