There will be a commemoration on Saturday morning in Leith. I think it starts at 10.15 with a parade stepping off from Dalmeny Street arriving at the memorial at Rosebank about 15 mins later. There will also be a 30 min service at the cemetery from 11am-11.30am.

Just to add, tickets to the service will be extremely limited, but it will be relayed to a TV screen in Pilrig Park.

There's a program about to start on BBC 4, is that the same one people are talking about?

Leith Local History Society is running an exhibition in Ocean Terminal until 12th June, from 12 noon to 5 pm each day. A very moving tribute that covers many aspects of the tragedy, including brief details, with pictures, that they have obtained of all those killed. The most poignant piece is a map of Leith as it was back then with the streets marked where the victims came from, brought it home graphically just how much the town was affected, almost every family either had someone killed or injured, or was a neighbour of them.

Definitely recommend a visit if you can get down to OT.

Was at Rosebank yesterday, quite a few additional wreaths and flowers laid since the official ceremony, some from organisations, some from individual families.

The chain of 216 stencilled Poppies on the pavement from Dalmeny Street to Rosebank a very powerful image.

Pleased to see a wreath from our club had been laid (sorry, can't post the actual picture I took).
