After 3 back-to-back wins, Motherwell have followed up with 1 point from a possible 9, scoring only the once while Kilmarnock have lost thier last 6 conceding 17.

Previous results

Kilmarnock 1-2 Motherwell
Motherwell 1-1 Kilmarnock
Kilmarnock 2-0 Motherwell

Motherwell unbeaten in their last 5 at home with Kilmarnock's last away win back in January 1st (drew 4, lost 4 away) and have won 3 (including the Jan 1st game) in 2015.

Not much confidence but the 6/5 Motherwell is beginning to look quite tempting.

Killie are in freefall at the moment, much like us last year, Motherwell have some good players, McDonald, Lasley, Pearson, McManus, Sutton, Ainsworth. I'd much rather face a club like Killie who are struggling badly just now so hoping for a Motherwell win.

yep, I'm hoping for a Motherwell win too. Killie don't really have any players that would worry me IF we get to that stage, whereas Motherwell do. 'Well win tonight hopefully.

One point should keep us safe.....so probably another terrible performance and a hammering with clichéd rubbish from Locke and the players after the match

What you want to do is concede an early goal; that way you lose the fear of conceding an early goal.

I would prefer Killie if we make it that far but it looks like they only have to win one of their remaining games to avoid the playoffs. They have a superior goal difference to Motherwell. A draw against Well would also be enough.

Can't see Motherwell avoiding the playoffs.

In Stockton-on-Tees this evening. An even more depressing place than usual after a Tory victory and pouring rain. Big cheer as I walked Back from the off-license so assume Boro won. Really hope they come up as the area needs something to celebrate.

Any day of the week. They are so like us last season and have a clueless manager as well. Motherwell's defence is dodgy but they definitely have a threat up front.

The prospect of locke (spelt with a c) being horsed down by the cabbage is a tantalising prospect.

Sir David Gray

My money would still be on Motherwell for the play off spot.

They're still three points behind, with two games left.

If Ross County win tomorrow, against an already relegated St Mirren, then it means that they're more or less safe and it would then be a straight fight between Kilmarnock and Motherwell over the last two matches.

Kilmarnock probably only need one point from their last two matches as I don't see Motherwell winning their last two matches.

If Kilmarnock do end up in the play offs, they may be the ideal team to face considering their dramatic slump in recent weeks. It is very similar to the run that we were on 12 months ago.

Very interesting couple of weeks ahead.

Motherwell could get four points from their last two matches and would finish 10th if Kilmarnock lose their last two matches.

But if Kilmarnock get one point from their last two games, that is likely to be enough unless Motherwell were to win their last two matches.
