Could somebody please explain why it is we have a group referred to as CyberNats but no similar name for those who support Labour, Conservative, UKIP or even Lib-Dem?
It appears that the term Cybernat is used to conjure up an image of Nasty Nationalists on the Internet, ready to pounce on anyone that doesn't share their views. I'm sure these people do exist, though not all SNP voters on the Internet are quite so nasty as people would have you believe.
Why, though, are supporters of other parties ignored? Believe me, I've read some amazingly abusive comments from Labour, Tory and UKIP voters aimed at Scot Nats, as well as at each other. For an example, check out the guy from Woking on The Herald comments section that is completely, and illogically, obsessed with abusing the SNP at every turn.
How come they get such an easy ride and the so-called CyberNats are so derided?
