Both out the first 2 play off games and probably longer. Farid also a doubt but should be fine. Typical Hibs luck.
Source is Alan Stubbs interview on hibs TV.

That's a blow. I hoped at least Boyle would be fit.

AS said out for at least 2 weeks so hopefully the break will help and he recovers. Has knee ligament damage though so likely 4 weeks

Gutted to be honest, both have been big players for us the last month.

Stubbs said that Forster has had a scan on his ankle but due to the swelling that's still there (surely not good news on the Tuesday after the game) that they weren't able to get conclusive results and that he'll be sent for another scan.

He said Boyle has strained his medial knee ligaments and that is at least two weeks out, but that a lot of the time it takes longer to heal.

From what he said I think we'll be very unlikely to see Forster again this season and Boyle might be back for the play-off against Motherwell should we get that far.

Bad news, Boyle has come onto a good game.

Would Boyle even have played if Gray is fit?

What's the latest with watson? Might have a job to do now Forster is out

Might not have started but would have been invaluable on the bench if we're chasing a goal

Will Harris be allowed to come into the mix ?

Would Boyle even have played if Gray is fit?

Possibly. He hasn't played as a wing back the last couple of weeks.

Shoddy luck. Lets hope that QOS or Rangers pick up a host of niggling injuries to key players…

Can we not recall him, since it's not a cross-border loan?

Gray will slot into the right of the 3. Dj on the right of midfield 5 perhaps...or Dylan if fit. Plenty options.

I'd rather we played Fontaine, Hanlon and Watson as a back three and have Gray at right wing back.

If Watson is back soon he can do a similar job to Forster, whereas we don't have anyone like Boyle. His pace stretches teams and you can see Allan loves playing with him. Hopefully Boyle's not out for long.

Watson only just back training this week. Gray can handle that role fine.

@MartinBoyle9: Absolutely devastated too be missing the rest off the season. Scans show I've torn my medial ligament, terrible feeling!! 😔👎🏼

True, but he's not been out long so it won't take him long to get fit and we don't play for another two weeks.

If Watson plays centre half it means we can put Gray at RWB and from what i've seen it's his best position IMO. It also means we don't have to put McGeouch out at RBW as he's wasted there.

His speed is going to be a huge loss. The rest of the team seriously lacks pace.

Boyle is a huge loss. He offers us something different. We have cover for Forster but hope he's fit for the final games assuming we beat QoS/the Rangers.

Boyle will be a big miss. it was in a 50/50 with tom taiwo that he got injured, taiwo fully went for it and boyle half pulled out the challenge.

Just our luck. He's been in great form recently then boom out the rest of the season. Will miss his pace hugely. Would really like to see him kept on. Taiwo is a dirty wee prick, was the same in the semi too.

We really have been unlucky with injuries to key players this season...bad news lets hope Jordan has better luck withbhis next scan. Any news on Dylan??

Losing Forster is a blow - he's been excellent since his return and really feel for him. He'll be back stronger next season.

But not having Boyle for the next few weeks is a bigger blow to the team and our chances of going up. He really was opening us up the past few weeks and giving our midfielders something to aim for in terms of threading passes and getting instantly behind tight defences, which we've struggled to do a lot of the season.

One of Stubbs' plan B's has just gone. But, we can still do it..

Boyle knew that challenge was going to be meaty due to the velocity TT was coming in at, he deserves respect for going in at all imo, plenty would have blanked it.
Speedy recovery Martin hope to see you in a Hibs shirt next year for sure.

Not having Boyle or Forster for any of the play off matches is a big disappointment.

Still think we can do it though, as long as we can keep the likes of Gray and McGeouch (who have also been injured recently) fit.

Yip, I could hear the crunch from the upper tier of the main stand. As you say, plenty would have shirked the tackle. Hopefully that's not the last time we've seen Martin Boyle in a Hibs jersey.
