When will the next time we see a team other than Celtic win the league?

Sad state of affairs with the league continuing to be dominated by 1 (previously 2 ) team(s).

Is the best other teams can ever ask for is 2nd ?

Down to money, fan base. Unless teams invest or hold on to the good players no we won't see another team win it.

Celtic could quite easily win the league for the next 10 years.

Hearts are winning it next year. Or haven't they told us that one yet?

Celtic could quite easily win the league for the next 10 years.

Change that to 100 years.

Too many people are content with the way the game is just now: a strong celtic and everyone else just feeding off the benefits of their superiority...or feeding off the scraps as I see it.

I include most clubs and even some supporters of non old-firm clubs in that.

We were discussing the possibility of league reconstruction to a 16 or 18 team league post-match . The general feeling was that a 16 or 18 team league would make for a more competitive and closer fought league.

Unless anyone else is allowed to, and wants to, invest heavily in a club then Celtic could easily win the league for the next 10-20 years no problem.

Its getting near time for a breakaway league. Celtic and eventually the rangers will win the league for the rest of time otherwise.
They just have too big a fanbase and all the other teams fans will just dribble away over time due to lack of interest.
The only compromise to me would be playoffs to win the league. 2nd and 3rd playoff to see who'd play first in the championship decider in a superbowl type final.
Either that or they can Stuff off to England and Ireland respectively.

One of the reasons why scottish football is a joke and is desperate for league reconstruction. The only glimmer of consolation is that when Celtc inevitably make it ten in a row it will be something else that sticks in the throat of the supporters of the team that replaced the team that died and remains dead.

Whole lot of them are wasting their careers. These medals are totally fake and they're kidding themselves on if they think winning this league is an achievement.

Commons, Brown etc are in a cushty wee comfort zone but anyone with ambition e.g. Van Dijk will be off in a flash.

Wee Anya at Watford and Ritchie at Bournemouth have achieved more this season than Commons has in 3.

I think the only way the gap would close would be to play once home and once away against Celtic all season.

4 times - chances are they would win the majority.

Playing each other 3 or 4 times will continue to be a product dominated by 1 team sadly I believe.

Its quite embarassing watching their manager jumping about the pitch at the end of games as if he has achieved something special.

I saw him on BBC news on Saturday morning and was cringing for him - empty stadium and him going "yeah", "yeah", "yeah". Wtf is that all about.
