Just saw on sky sports that Rio Ferdinands wife has passed away......JHC she can't be that old....tragic RIP

Just heard that as well on sky news. Died last night after a short battle with cancer. As you say she doesn't look that old. Tragic RIP

What a shame, I can't imagine what that would be like. 34 is no age at all.

I really hope so

Was at my pals funeral two weeks age who died of it and he was only 51 and that is far too young

Rio Ferdinand and his family must be devastated to lose their wife and mother at only 34

Was very sad when I heard it on the radio on the way home this morning.

I lost a very close friend (she introduced my wife and I), also called Rebecca coincidentally, when she died from cancer at just 22.

It truly is an awful disease.
