The event, which started two hours before kick-off, was hosted by Grant Stott and featured a legion of Hibernian heroes including Jackie McNamara, Ally McLeod, Tony Higgins and Stuart Lovell.
The former favourites shared some of their most treasured Easter Road memories – unforgettable times spent playing here at the club.
Stephen Dunn, Director of Hibernian Supporters Limited (HSL), said: “We were thrilled with the interest and feedback we received on Saturday.
“The former players made a big impact and it was great to see Ally MacLeod, Tony Higgins and Stuart Lovell back at Easter Road supporting HSL.
“Amongst those who signed up on the day were all four members of the Black family; Alexander, Gordon, Kieran and Conor, who have joined a number of other supporters who have made this a family affair.
“Finally, we reached 3.5% ownership and the recent contribution of £15,000 from the Hibernian Supporters Association helped us reach this milestone.
“Thanks to all our supporters and we encourage all supporters to sign up and help us support Alan and the Club’s sporting ambition moving forward.”
Chief Executive Leeann Dempster and other board members were also in attendance to answer questions about the club’s Share Issue and to shed some further light on the progress that has been made so far.
Special thanks to everybody, who attended such a thoroughly enjoyable event and the good news is there will be further events planned in the future.
A glorious past and an exciting future – now is the time to fully embrace the Hibernian Share Issue.
Being a Hibee – it forms a big part of our identity. Passed down by parent to child, that ingrained allegiance to Hibernian makes initial trips to Easter Road quickly become visits home.
