Hopefully we can get the opposite stand as well.

I know it's not great for those who have ST's in there.
But I am pretty sure they could all fit into the one stand and we could provide a LOT of cash for them.

I can't see them moving ST holders just for one match, especially so close to the game.

I remember Killie did this a couple of years back for a Celtc game and their Fans were furious.

True. But then again £££ talks no?

There's no chance they will move fans from behind that goal. It's usually a well populated stand and it's where their singing section is.

They can but they originally wanted to build one that held around 6000 but they can only build a 2000 seater which ithey have planning permission for.

So how was the stadium built in the first place?

So how was the stadium built in the first place?

From www.footballgroundguide.com -

Originally when the stadium was built it was envisaged that a much larger stand would be built on this side of the ground, raising the overall capacity to around 15,000. However the local authority re-zoned the whole area around the Grangemouth Petro-Chemical works and unfortunately this meant that the stadium fell within the disaster area of the works and so the capacity has been restricted to 10,000.

2000 would be fine for them as another tier could be added to either end if for some reason they suddenly started getting capacity crowds.

Would it not protect those in the main stand from the blast? :greengrin

The laws on 'Blast Zones' are strange, to say the least. What they have, in effect, said is that they don't want 14,000 people getting blown up but 10,000 is perfectly acceptable.

Wierd.

I dared to suggest that some fans would be waiting to see how we got on against Alloa on Saturday (in case we didn't get the three points) before buying their ticket for Falkirk. It was quickly disregarded.

Sold out during the weekend. I may not have been wrong.

The bulk of the Hibs support will be housed in the north stand which is behind the goal, you will be in the main stand to our right.

I did some planning work in Falkirk a few years ago and was surprised at the way the various blast zones from Grangemouth just missed the ground
