Where will be full of Hibbies tomorrow before the game?

I'd rather head out to somewhere near the stadium than drink in the city centre and then fart about with trains or trying to get a taxi before the game.

We went to a hotel before the 2013 celtic cup final. It was set in gardens just off a main road and was about a ten minute walk to the Shed. It was full of Hibees, does anyone remember the name of it?

The Boswell? I was there as well. They clearly didn't expect so many folk to turn up as they ran out of gas for the draft beer and ended up running out of bottles as well. A fair few folk nipped down to the supermarket and drank a carry out in the gardens. Good fun though :greengrin

Aye, that's the one! Just googled it there and it looks like it's closed now unfortunately.

I'd love somewhere like the murrayfield hotel not too far from hampden. Meant to be nice tomorrow in the weej so somewhere with a beer garden or the like would be ideal.

Montford House is nearest pub to the East stand of the stadium. Unfortunately they don't open till 11am but fine with wearing colours etc. Think I recall last time I was there, pints being reasonably cheap!

We went to 10 hotel on Queens Drive before that game, plenty picnic table type seating outside.

Just phoned 10 Hotel and their bar doesn't open until 12. The Ivory Hotel looks like an option. Phoned them and their bar opens at 11 and they do breakfast 9 - 10:30. It's on campbell avenue not far from hampden.

Looks like that's where I will head with younger brother who is on a day trip from Stoke.

Few beers and rolls then taxi over to stadium the back of 11.

Used to go there quite regularly before and after Hibs games in Hampden or Scotland games.

Had a superb time before and after the CIS Cup win in 2007, another highlight was after the 1-0 Scotland v Holland win in 2003.

Church on the Hill is a good pub and in walking distance to Hampden.

http://www.churchonthehill.co.uk

Large inside with a lot of screens and also has a space outside for smokers / sunshine drinking.

Time permitting we're hoping to have a couple in The International on the main road nearby where the coaches park.

Anybody know if it will be open at 11am?

The Allison Arms after the game for Scottish Grand National, Soccer Saturday and the two t-time games.

A fair few Hibbies in there after the game. Good day out apart from the score. :-(

Left The Iron Horse at about 2215 to go and catch the bus, there were that many bodies strewn about the pavement on West Nile Street it was like an out-take from The Walking Dead!
