Livingston should launch an appeal.

Livi should appeal and demand why points are not being deducted as in their case. Shower of biased bluebacked officials ruining the game for the benefit of a certain Glasgow club.

Ashley fined £7.5k, is that not just dinner money for a billionaire, also looks to be a one-off with no compulsion for him to sell his shares. He should be fined that daily until he either sells Rangers shares or gives up Newcastle.

Livi had a points deduction for not informing the SPFL they had not paid all their tax in season 2010 - 2011.

I wonder if a team on the west side of Edinburgh actually informed the league about ALL of Vlad's dodgy schemes ?

Just looked this - it's not quite true I'm afraid

Livingston were fined through points deduction for a tax breaking offence.

The punishment for dual ownership was a fine and a player registration ban

Let's not let a couple of facts get in the way of this absolute farce.

Have The Rangers been banned from registering players?

Is it not the case that they are/were but only outside the transfer window?

Can Sevco afford £5500?

According to Sevco, the fine relates to " historic events "

For a three year old club, that is a historic event.

Exactly what I was thinking that will really have them worried. Notice Mike Ashley got fined 7.5k previously, he probably got that from the back of his couch.

Bit like Collum in the recent Rangers game at ER, "gonnae no dae that, gonnae no, thats my final warning, that my final, final warning".

The Livi board owned up to the tax avoidance by previous owners and got hit with the 5 point penalty for their trouble.

Don't think anyone has asked Budge and Co or David Southern about Rudi Skacel's private deals or anything like that, not that they would likely know.

Maybe Leigh Griffith's brief should ask the Tax Refugee himself under oath when the sing-song trial gets underway. :greengrin
