Simply outstanding! My man of the match...

Some of his blocks, I'm sure it was him with the outstanding block on Zeefuik when he had an open goal!

Won everything in the air also!

Back 3 were immense as was Farid and Dylan.

Excellent performance. Man of the match goes to Cummings though, without doubt his best performance in a hibs jersey.

The only change I would make is to bring Robertson back in for Boyle if he is fit.

If not starting 11 picks itself for next week.

I thought Boyle while not creating much during the game played very well in the first half stretching their defense and making some very good runs.

In the 2nd half he did some very good defending and with the size of the pitch next week, i think he might keep his place and probably deserves to.

There were times that he should of stepped on the gas and hit the beeline but chose to come inside.

Maybe been told to play in a certain way. The pitch at Hampdump is big and should suit him.

All worked hard and dîdnt let the Gorgie mob bully us. That was the difference.

The big fella was outstanding the day throughout, that block in the 2nd half helped win the game.

Lads a winner too...best prospect we've had out the youth system for ages.

He was excellent. It looked like one of their tactics was to wind him up and get him sent off - a couple of them took turns to nudge, pull, kick and leave a bit in on him but he kept his discipline.

Totally agree

Jordan was exceptional

However Farid was the big difference. Gives us a totally different dimension and ran his socks off. He looked absolutely shattered in the last 15 but still showed fantastic composure with the goal

Momentum building again

Jordan is a very specific type of player, defends 100% and gives everything. Don't think he can play the overlapping full back that Watson has been asked to play

He can and did though. He was one of the few highlights when playing that position last season. His height is also useful for crosses in from the left. Saying that I do think his best position is one of a back 3 or as a traditional centre half.

Jordon twice got into the face of Zee*** and Sow first half - basically told them where to go and who was boss - and it worked.

Both were kacking themselves to make a challenge against him :agree: JF, Fyvie and Fontaine were excellent today - have to say Oxley, bar a wee fumble when he went to punch from a corner, had three good stops today, one from Walker in particular - he came in for some criticism so fair play to the lad. Need to see it again but I think the back header at 2-0 from Hanlon was going in.

And Boyle - if he is coached the right way in that 3-5-2.......I think we might have a player a la Lewis........I thought he absolutely ran his heart out today and his showing went under the radar :aok:

Was going about a foot wide, could see it clearly from FF upper. Still a decent save.

Jordon was regarded as third choice, behind Gray and Watson and coming back from long-term injury. To then put in such a performance shows again the astuteness of the management team, one injury doesn't mean we have to play players out of position.

Having 2 cup-tied for Saturday can be covered.

For a guy who had very few games under his belt and not had his injury problems to seek he was simply outstanding and there is no doubt about his bravery. He's not bad in the penalty box either ... every chance he has earned a semi final place, even without folk being cup tied or injured.

Couldn't give him MoM though .... that went to Farid .. as good an overall striking display as I've seen for a long time.

I think you'll find he's 3rd choice behnd Hanlon and Fontaine who are the same as Forster, centrebacks.

I know he is, but I suspect he would have been on the bench had either Gray or Watson been fit. My comment about it being yet another example of how much better we are than 12 months ago stands though, methinks. :agree:

And that he was immense

I think Stubbs has been forced to play 3-5-2 and like the diamond it's worked really well, he's been a bit stubborn to change his winning formula but now that has, lets hope he's more pliant in his tactical thinking.
