What a shift he put in. I don't think he lost a header all day and what a finish.

Really impressive, made one, scored one with a cigar in his gob. All round play was great. Got to be JC and Farid up front next week. Good pairing.

Totally agree...Malonga just does not suit the way we play with El Alagui - we need Cummings making those darting runs in and beyond the opposition back 4. Malonga comes short too often and also fails to release the ball quickly enough time and again.

Last time we had a striker who win almost everything in the air was Keith Wright.

He's superb and the shift he put in deserved a goal. He could be the difference for us going up and staying down!!

Yip head up and knew exactly where to play it giving Farid plenty of time to set himself before chipping over Alexander.

Delighted for him getting that goal. Been a frusting struggle for him all season trying to recover from a very bad injury!

Well Done Farid :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::flag::flag::flag:

The difference between him and Malonga. Never understood people sticking up for Malonga being lazy. Farid is everything you expect from a striker...closing down on defenders, working hard.

Wonderful performance from the big man and he looked genuinely emotional when he scored. Glad he got the winner after missing that chance before with forsters volley back in. One everything in the air. Like a new signing!!

Couldn't have wanted a winner to be scored by anyone else more!! :flag:

Spot on TC - thought Farid was excellent today - and he probably isn't fully up to speed yet

Farid is what we have been missing all season.

He even defended stoutly near the end.

A fine all round performance.

He's the difference.

Scored one, set up one. Won a lot in the air, what he didn't win he made diffucult. Chased, hounded, worked hard.

Great to have him back.

Immense. You saw what it meant to him at the end. Won most of the balls in the air and never gave up running.

Come on the Hibees.

Farid is a superhero.

I have a feeling we may not see malonga again in a hibs strip. Can't see him being around next year.

I would like to publicly admit how wrong I was during the discussion a few weeks ago on El Alagui coming back to fitness.

I said at the time that I wasn't convinced he'd be able to dislodge the incumbent strikers, as they'd earned their rights to a start over the season, and that he hadn't shown enough in his short time at Hibs that he was anything better.

He's proven me sooooo wrong, and boy am I happy to admit it :greengrin

Him and Jason played well together today. Hopefully more to come from them both, especially next Sat!

Was immense today - won headers - worked hard and linked up play well.

Took his goal really well and brought leadership to the front line.

Great for his confidence and he will continue to become sharper.
