I expect us to lose. We'll have a lot of possession and do nothing with it, barely getting a shot on goal. Then one of their players will just turn round and slam in a 40-yarder. Then late on we will score a perfectly good goal and get it chopped off.

I'm saying all this hoping that, for a change, none of the above will happen!

Got a feeling that all those chances we have been making, may just be converted at some point before the seasons end.

Unfortunately, think you are 100% correct. Happened too often in the past and haven't seen anything to make me think it will suddenly change tomorrow.

Can't see past a Hearts win - they won the league easily, scored lots of goals, lost few, haven't lost many games ... we're not clinical enough up front, we're not physical enough and we're liable to slip up badly at the back when pressed by a decent team ... won't be watching/listening to the game, so hope Hibs surprise me and prove me wrong by beating them ....

We've played them 3 times this season and there has been nothing in the 3 games - very close. We've done well in these games, not well enough to win any of the games but at no point have we been comprehensively outplayed.

Another tight game but I take us to edge it 2-1.

The only variation I could see happening would be if we score early. I don't think they would know how to handle that and we could go on and pump them.

The rangers scored fairly early and after that hearts were the better team for a spell then Rangers got the second and it kind of knocked the stuffing out of hearts.

Don't think we will pump them as form isn't great and a few key players injured Also need to factor in some players may not want to risk injury ahead of Semi Final Has a draw written all over it for me and a scoring one
If Farid was match fit and Gray playing I would be more confident of a hibs win

Not been looking forward too this game one bit. Finally decided on 2-1 or 3-0 for us though. Not a bad prediction considering I have been dreading it.

I never make predictions for this fixture because I usually get it wrong.

What may be significant, as far as the outcome of the match is concerned, is who the referee and his assistants are. Does anyone know who the man in black is tomorrow?

I must have tried every kind of prediction now (expecting a Hibs win, fearing a loss, thinking a draw, stating that anything could happen etc etc) and been disappointed so many times..

17 years today since the Basher/Harper 2-1 game. Hearts were clear favourites, but we out-grafted them. The weather was even the same! There's victory guaranteed right there.

Not at this stage, we needed to win, and did just that. Only relegated at the game v Dundee Utd at ER

No, we were still alive at that point. Us winning finally killed any faint hope they had of winning the league though, the poor little cherubs.

I think it will be very close again. You can guarantee Hearts will be up for it, so we have to match them for intensity. If we can do that, I'll take us to win 2-1. If we're even a bit slack, Hearts will nick it.

Get where you're coming from but if anyone is not 100% focused on this game because they have one eye on the semi they should be nowhere near the starting eleven today. A meaningless game the week before a semi fair doos but a derby?? I hope (and I think he does) Stubbs understands how important these games are and will be drilling it into them.
