Never been but my son has a trial with Hibs next week and wonder if anyone could give me and the boy any advice? Regarding travel and issues around the training centre.

Are you going by car or public transport?

If driving then East mains is a bit hidden along the road to Ormiston from Tranent, there is only a small green arrow saying HTC on it in white. It's about a mile from Tranent on the left hand side, there is fields then a long hedge, you will come across a single cottage with a high wooden fence, there is a lane beside cottage, this is where you will see the HTC sign. Go along lane and you will come to wooden gates, go through and that's you there. postcode is EH35 5NG

Drive down and have a look over the weekend. Take your son as it might help him relax and reduce apprehension before his trial.

Watch the speed bumps at the training center! They're lethal!

Good luck to him. Hopefully part of a new "golden generation".

Good idea from poster PatHead re taking a drive down at the weekend esp. for your boy's sake.
If that's not possible, why not take a cyber drive to EM on Google Maps (if you know how to use the wee orange man).
FYI, at the turn off into the access road there is a sign saying "HTC".

Everything on the ground level, so you shouldn't have any problems getting around. Hope you both enjoy it. Lots of Easter training camps on next week too, so he should feel at home with lots of lads/lassies running around.

Thanks for advice his trial is in evening so hopefully avoid the bulk of traffic at training camps. Will take drive down over weekend.
