The lesser of two evils IMO.

When was the last time we had Craig Thomson? Must be due to get him soon? They're probably saving him for the play offs in case we look like beating the Rangers.

I dont agree with that he's better than Most in Scotland.

Really can't see it little understanding of the game and too card happy. If he is one of the best we are in trouble. Can't count the number of reds he has missed in derby games and also missed the juggling act penalty v St Mirren which would probably have kept us up last season

Probably the best of a bad bunch but that's not good enough.

Where it rolled down the defenders arm and then he almost punched it away?
Clear ball played hand.

Gollum sent off a Shakhtar Donetsk player after 3 minutes in a recent Champions League match against Bayern Munich.

I don't know if it was justified or not. I didn't see it. Shakhtar coach wasn't very happy though, from what I read. Bayern went on to win 7-0.

Yep handled it twice Collum said he didn't see it but appeared to have an unobstructed view.

It's a pretty certain penalty although you can't really see how good the contact is.
The red card depends on whether you think it's a clear goal-scoring opportunity.

As you say, about 3 minutes in.

Had it been Barca or Real he would have been struck off; but then again he would probably not have shown the same colour card!!!

I could see it clearly standing at the bottom of the FF Lower!

I've seen them given, some not. It just seems very very harsh to me to award the penalty and send the defender off, especially so early in a match.

It's hard enough playing Bayern Munich with 11 men on the pitch as the Shakhtar coach said.

The Hibs players need to be aware not to give Gollum the chance to make a name for himself at ER too.

Unless it's Craig Thomson who's history in officiating our games is well documented, I'm really not bothered who it is. The standard of refereeing in Scottish football is appalling in general.

The sfa must have taken note of his shocking performances when officiating our games as he's been a stranger at our matches this season. He's a cert to get one of the semis but probably the all premier tie but he's also a stick on to get the cup final.

for a referee with a reputation of being card happy WC has missed 4 red cards in Edinburgh derbies alone I reckon. Templeton's stamp on McPake, Ryan Stevensons kung fu challenge on McPake and the 2 in the first derby of this season (Lewis and one of their mob). He has also had a few red cards rescinded too. With that level of incompetance he should not be reffing any game above junior level.

It's probably a surprise to him as well.

From that I can only assume referees are in no way assessed re performance.

Been saying this for some time - you just KNOW that the GFA are keeping CT on stand-by !!. Their 'Go-to guy' when they want to ram it right up us as he enjoys doing it so much !!

His performance against Arbroath in the cup was staggering.
