Saw the trailers for it and, for lack of a better phrase, looking forward to it. Always find it a bit tough to try and place these kind of things into the context of the day they took place so hoping the programme achieves that.

Sadly, you'll probably find it easier to place it into current day context.

That, for me, was the most worrying aspect of the documentary.

Followed closely by footage of the British 'branch' of the KKK. Deeply disturbing.

I wish that everybody that talks about the "PC Brigade" would watch this show, and then say there is no need to censure people for offensive language.
The main issue is how terrible it was for the immigrants living in a situation where there was no law to protect them, and where the local council was overtly prejudiced.
