Just had a look on the ticket site for today’s game. Looks like it could be a reasonable gate. I didn’t count the dots but I guess it looks like the crowd could be around the 12k mark (including say 1k Berwick fans). Not bad for a cup tie when season tickets aren’t eligible. Suggests fans are starting to come back. It will be interesting to know after the game what the actual attendence was.

It doesn't suggests that when league games still attract around 8000. It's a quarter final of the cup, that's why the numbers will be up today.

The romance of the Scottish Cup will be a factor along with weather and pricing .The fact it's on T V ,early kick off time and lower division opposition will affect crowd though so anything near or above 12 thousand would be decent .
Agree recent home attendances have been disappointing but three wins this week and and some early spring sunshine should start to see us build back up for the run in and think Rangers game could see us close to a sell out if we can keep winning .

Sales are very good, were well up on Arbroath as of yesterday.

And that's a fact.

I think the loyalty point system has added 2k on the gate

Could well beat our last Scottish Cup QF home attendance: 9,857 vs Ross County in 2009/2010 (Saturday, 2pm).

You can't beat the Scottish Cup days.

Kilmarnock away a couple seasons ago was one of the best games I've been too and the crowd that day played a massive part in the win IMO.

Berwick had sold 800 by Friday - allegedly.
I am hoping for a crowd of over 12k.

For a Sunday lunchtime kick off on the telly, that is quite respectable.

more than Dundee Utd Celtic could muster today. pretty decent and now a real chance to get to a third final in four years. Not counting any chickens though

Yams commenting on the match report on the Scotsman site trying to have a dig about the crowd size, completely ignoring that the crowd at their last cup game was only 1k higher...and 3.5k of them were Celtic supporters.

Their obsession with their own perceived 'bigness' has become boak inducing lately. Especially when it's plainly obvious that they only turn up when they think they'll win

But that's not a fair comparison, as it wasn't a quarter-final.

How many were at their quarter-final this year? What? Oh.

Their quarter-final last year then? No way, really?

OK, so their quarter-final the… ah, forget it.

It's a really strange thing the Yams have about attendances at Hibs matches. Anything to try to make themselves appear bigger (the "big team" lol). It's like the wee kn** syndrome where the guy (Yam guy) has to drive around in a bright yellow Ferrari to make up for it.

11,000+ for a cup tie against Berwick Rangers is pretty respectable, especially with it kicking off at lunchtime on a Sunday, and live on TV. Was anyone (who lives in the real world) expecting a 20,000 crowd at ER today?

Thought it was a decent gate & hopefully on the back of today's result and Hampden on the horizon, crowds might pick up for next 4 league games at ER with those non STH's hoping turning up = a ticket for Hampden.

Attendances will improve shortly. Glory hunters in need of loyalty points..

This is a relatively recent phenomenon and definitely demonstrates that something is missing. Whatever it is.
