In the team photo who is the player between Neil Cooper and Callum Milne the in the back row? I thought perhaps Davie Farrell or Fellenger?

Houchen? No, scrap that, he's next to McIntryre!

And also why is Andy Goram not there?

Remember the evening news having a a classic photo of him, arms up in the air stood in front of us in the old away end at Tyncastle after scoring against them after Kane's cultured punt !!
The one attached above looks to be taken from more side on than I remember - in my mind the evening news photo was taken from directly behind him.
Either way it adorned my wall for a long time.

The pic of him in front of fans at swynie was a belter, sure Hibs put it in a programme

I thought McCluskey had left before 1989 (assuming this is the 89-90 squad photo) but a quick wiki check shows he left for Hamilton later in 89. Liked him as a player too :)

Was indeed a mental night. What a goal that was.

Andy Goram came in after the season started or he was left out due to a black eye....

And also why is Andy Goram not there?

He was most probably playing cricket somewhere :greengrin
Rangers made him give that up when he signed for them.

What a truly exciting signing that was for us. I remember being over the moon. Classy player. Unforgettable Tynie match.

One of the classiest footballers I have had the pleasure of watching. That game at Tynecaslte was great as was his double in a 3-1 ( I think) win against Celtic at ER. We signed him from Barcelona and I think Liverpool were interested as well. How times have changed!!

Vaguely remember a bumper crowd turning up for a midweek game to see his début. Miller kept him on the bench the whole game :fuming:

Recall Archibald storming out of Fir Park before a midweek match. Can't remember reason? Presumably not picked to start?

80s Balotelli.

My recollection is that he started against QoS in the League Cup and scored twice in a 4-2 win. Think Miler said not to expect too much as he hadn't played for a while but ended up lasting the full 90.

I tried to find it but has anyone got the clip of Archibald's brace against the tic. He remains one of my favourite all time Hibs player - very elegant.
