Aberdeen are looking good here. Celtic are all over the place. IF Aberdeen win this, could they really win the league.

Celtic 1-0 Aberdeen

Totally against the run of play.

Hermit Crab

Aberdeen left to rue all of the chances they've made but failed to take.

You can say many things about Alloa's artificial surface yesterday but it was better than Celtic Park's pitch today.

Given Celtic played away from home in Europe they will be happy if they get a draw The onus is on Aberdeen to win today

The replay didn't show much but seeing it live it looked like he was fortunate there to avoid a red card.

Simply keeping up their 'always the victim' crap that they peddle so well.

It was a witch-hunt dontcha know?

Seeing that replay, how is Griffiths not fouling Scott Brown during that goal?

And that's why Aberdeen are not going to win the league.

All the chances but don't take them, Celtic get one and find themselves 1 up.

Griffiths is not obliged to move. As long as he doesn't move to get in the way of the keeper it's not a foul. He just stood his ground imo.

Sylar
01-03-2015, 12:51 PM
Nah. Just standing his ground imo.

He's leaning in and preventing Brown coming off his line to get the ball though, no?

Either way, it's been a decent 45 minutes of football - Aberdeen play some lovely stuff.

Liverpool 1-1 Citeh at half-time too, which has also been a great game.

silverhibee
01-03-2015, 01:01 PM
I was thinking that myself.

Just seen it on replay, never a foul, why did the goalie just not move and Griffiths would have fell on his arse, and it was also a penalty to celtc for a foul on Van Dyke at the same time, hope the sheep get the next goal.

That goalie looks humpty to me. Should be stronger at the goal. He was shocking against Dundee Utd in the LC semi final a few weeks ago as well. They'd be better with Langfield and that's saying something.

He's been a free agent since leaving Houston Dynamo in November last year.

He went on trial with DC United in December but they didn't sign him.

Ach well that's the top flights both won by teams who you would never have guessed at the start. The champions league spots in England will be filled by any four of the same boring five teams. The championship in England will become increasingly distasteful as all talk will be about organisations accessing a global TV audience instead of teams achieving sporting prizes. The play off final will be the trillion pound game and the relegation scrap will be desperate teams squirming at the thought of not getting a slice of the billions.

Booooring. Hibs are all that's left for me now.
