Dortmund have equalised, just knew Suarez would score against City.

Have to say I absolutely love seeing Man City toil and struggle in Champions League.

The draws they've had over the last 3 years have been dreadful. Arsenal and Man U (when they're in it) always seem to get easy draws in comparison.

Arsenal have had Bayern Munich two years in a row. Ac milan (when they were still good) the year before and barcelona before that.

Hardly easy!

Rumours of Barca's demise have been greatly exaggerated. Different class so far.

I think I'm thinking about the group stages as well?

Although I admit I hardly pay attention to the CL until about QF.

Dundee Utd 0-1 Inverness

Dundee Utd seem to have imploded since the loss of Mackay-Steven and Armstrong.

Their goalkeeper's been sent off as well.

No good for us really as we need UTD to beat celtic imo if we got a chance in the SC

No chance of that IMO.

I actually think we would stand a better chance of beating Celtic at this moment in time than Dundee Utd would.

This. Man City are everything that's wrong with football.

Find it funny, City fans moaning from the stands about getting beat by Barca, when just a few years ago they were a nothing club. The fans have done zip to put the club in this position but feel aggrieved when they get a footballing lessons from one of the great clubs :greengrin

Absolutely. Barca have a deep rooted culture, pedigree and a sustainable financial structure with a decent smattering of national players. City is a temporary, manufactured plaything until someone gets bored :greengrin

Was it Real or Barca that got bailed out by their council a few years ago after they overspent?

Bought it for obscene amounts then loaned it back for peanuts.

Both are registered as charities so pay little tax iirc

The only reason Barcelona compete at this level it's beside they and real Madrid have stitched up the Spanish tv money between them.

Pish! Yes money is heavily weighted in there favour but money doesn't buy you a first team that in its peak (guardiolas era) was 90% homegrown!
