Europe choice seems to be between Darren Clarke and Jiminez. Think it will be Clarke.

USA choice sounds as if it could be between Couples, Azinger or Love III. Sounds as if it is going to be Love.

Love's man management must have been decent because I cannot believe he's going to be picked again after his 'mess up at Medinah'.

Azinger was touted a few months ago, I thought he'd get it. I wonder if Mickelson's toys being chucked out at the pram at Gleneagles affected his chances at all.

Agreed. I'd be amazed if Love gets it but remember at one point his team was leading 10-4.

I'd love to see Clarke getting it - I think he'd be an excellent captain and a superb motivator.

And surely it doesn't matter who the Americans appoint as they're going to win, having set up their own committee to investigate what's gone wrong of late :greengrin
