Big deal, the standard in League one and league two is rank rotten, just because more peoples watch it doesn't change that fact, you can indeed polish a turd

So what?

Danderhall Hibs

What one was he again? I remember the name but can't remember position or put a face to the name. What era was he - calderwood or Fenlon?

Fenlon - looked like a little boy lost on the left wing. Scored that open goal at Killie in the Cup. He plays more centrally now, is injury-free and looks a different player :aok:

Much happier with the squad we have now. Matt Done was garbage whilst here, and the OP would do better thinking about current crop of player's than past failures.......

At our club we have at the very least 15 players that are better footballers than Done.

:agree: Not really interested in what guys like Matt Done are doing now. They were failures from the past and from a time when watching Hibs was less than enjoyable. Thankfully we now have a side that has you looking forward to the weekends and one that has us looking ahead with some optimism.

IMO the problem we had is we haven't had a "system" when it comes to playing or recruiting for quite some time. Many good players have come and gone as they've needed something to settle into and we've had nothing set in stone about what Hibs do.

He played seven games. Scott Allan took more than that to settle in.

Yes but Allan looked like a player from day one.

Are we going to have a thread like this every week when one of our ex players score a goal? Is this meant to enforce the idea that these players are better now that they are away from us or that we were mugs for letting them go?

Hiber-nation

We all knew Allan was a player but nowhere near fit. Took about 3 games to show his quality. No-one had ever heard of Done and he was absolute gash for us. Glad he's doing well now but that doesn't matter.

It's really tedious.

A few players have done ok since leaving Hibs and we seem to get weekly updates informing us of the fact. Far more have faded into obscurity.

All of these players were around at a bad time for the club. Some may have done better in the current set up, others wouldn't have been allowed near a Hibs strip. Time we moved on imo.

Neither just that some people like to follow progress of former players. Thread title is pretty clear so I don't see a problem with it.

Or maybe time you stopped worrying about what other folk like to talk about. Plenty of room on here for everyone.

I was interested when I saw that he'd got move to Sheffield Utd, and am curious as to how well he'll do. When I saw he'd scored today I thought there'd be a thread on here, so not surprised at this.

I am surprised about how bothered some folk are about it though.
