Great news but why haven't HSL boycotted the EEN?

It's a good start. Be interesting to see how many subscribers we have? This weeks figure will have been boosted by some taking the lump sum option.
However, if nobody has then it points to 1300 subscribers.

Fantastic start. Especially if you consider the lag time between signing up and DD coming off bank accounts. I signed up on Wednesday (2 days after it went live) and DD due to come out on Monday I think so many like me won't have been in the £25k numbers!

If we can guess/assume it averages out at £20 per month - then we have had 1250 signed up and DD's paid in first five days. So....I think it's resasonable to guess min 2500 - 3000 regular subscribers @£20 per months would be £60k per month/ £720k pa. Add in those who went direct or lump sum and we should reach £2.5m in 3 years, while the club have extra c£800k pa towards football ambitions!

Just my view of course. Would be great if club continue to show contributions so we can keep pushing and pushing.

An excellent start, but I think we'll get a clearer picture as regards how many have signed up to HSL, and for how much, in about a month's time say.

I'll sign up for this and also add to my own shareholding, I think HSL deserves a strong voice in the boardroom

Agree, I've done both. The numbers above for hsl will be plus those who have bought separately too. Even better

Great start and shows, contrary to what those who have shouted very loudly claim, the fans are behind this.

As they're only buying in £10K multiples there could be another £9k sitting in the bank. The figures won' t be meaningful for a couple of months.

:hmmm: Isn't 625,000 shares £25,000?

It means we're only 2.475 mill away from fan ownership.

What about putting one of those barometer things on the site, so we can chart the progress?

Looking forward to seeing how many fans have signed to HSL. Hearts and Rangers both have around 7000 fans paying monthly so hopefully we will get a few thousand signing up.

The HSL FAQs said they would be buying shares in £10k blockes. Maybe they've changeed their strategy.

Sat down with my daughter tonight to purchase via HSL. Grabbed a beer as I thought it would take a while but we both set up the registrations and our individual payment options in a matter of minutes.

Simples :-)

I know it's probably already been suggested, but I'd like to see a barometer (if that's the thing I'm thinking of) of the progress that's being made.

Understand HSL are working on a paper based system for people who do not have access to internet. Should make a difference.

I'm currently finalising the renegotiation of my mortgage so I didn't want to introduce any new direct debits or whatever. It'll be a done deal within the next couple of weeks and I'll definitely be signing up straight after.

Don't think non UK residents are eligible. Certainly not for shares and I am sure HSL said that the other night.

Q. I’m an overseas supporter, can I buy shares?

A. We’re sorry, but to comply with the financial services legislation the share issue is only open to supporters resident in the UK. However, you can contribute to collective ownership via Hibernian Supporters Limited www.hiberniansupporters.co.uk (http://www.hiberniansupporters.co.uk)
