I've hankered after red trousers since I saw Mick Jones wearing a pair when I went to see the Clash in the 70's!

I've just never had the confidence to buy a pair, never mind wear them!

I might nowadays right enough. Find me an outlet...

Nope.

I have a real prejudice against those guys you see wearing various colours (usually pastel) of chinos. Red are the worst.

You need to be an architect to wear red chinos. It's written in the Magna Carta and slavishly adhered to by literally every architect in London I know, which is quite a few.
