I'm in the process of planning the missus' 30th birthday weekend. We can leave from 1 of 2 airports (Zurich or Basle) but where we are going is totally open depending on the price of flights etc.

However, I can't find any site that can - with given dates - find an aggregated list of destinations linked with a given start airport by direct flights, and the prices thereof?

Is it just me, or does that seem mental? Does anyone know of such a website/app, kind of like a "quote me happy" for travel where the destination is unknown but the other parameters are?

If not, I'm off to make my millions. I guess the algorithm behind it would be pretty complex, but it would be massive help for holiday planning.

Skyscanner etc - as far as I can see - need you to put in a destination before you get options/prices etc

Any ideas?

You can type "everywhere" into the destination box on Skyscanner and it'll list destinations by price on your chosen date

Skyscanner does do that, just put in flying from Edinburgh on 19th Feb and left destination blank and it gave me a list of available destinations and costs.

Might only work from certain airports though?
