Is anyone going to be fooled by this rubbish? Seeing Gordon Brown prancing around making promises he cant keep on behalf of someone not popular enough to make them himself was enough to make me want to through my tv out the window.

The same poor souls that were fooled by the Vow v1.0 in September.

All we hear just now is 'English votes for English Laws', Willie Vague was on telly this morning and it really bugs me how that is so important to the Tories, yet they fought so hard during the referendum campaign to keep Scottish MPs at Westminster.

Is it not ironic that the solution to the West Lothian Question or EVEL as it is now known was Independence?

What gets me is that if labour thought that this was the way forward for the Scottish parliament why didnt they propose these new powers to the Smith commission?
Just like during the referndum when they started to panic, they wheel out a man who will be retiring, therefor unable to implement what he's promising.
Where's Milliband?

You've mad the schoolboy error of assuming Labour actually think about things. They have absolutely no idea what they are doing.
Their Scottish campaign is being masterminded by the bunterish Blair mcdougall who helped take yes from 25-30% up to 45% and John mcternan who demonstrated his competence in strategy superbly in Australia.
I wouldn't trust those clowns to shift a piano up a flight of stairs let alone try and elevate someone as unprincipled, untrustworthy, disliked and incompetent as Jim Murphy to first minister.

I doubt that Jim Murphy has got any intention of becoming first minister. I suspect he will stand down before the Holyrood elections, either a hero for turning things round for the branch office or as the man who lost labour control of Scotland

52 is the new 45

the poll excludes the Scottish Green Party for some reason.

I am amazed Labour still retains 27% support in Scotland.

Ashcroft constituency polls out for 16 Scottish seats today, mainly Lab seats in Glasogw and the greater Weedge plus 2 Lib seats: 15/16 would fall to the SNP including both Alexanders, Dougie and Danny. :aok:
