The latest I've turned up for a match was a fourth round Scottish Cup tie against Rangers in Feb 1973 at Ibrox. Arrived just in time for the start of the second half. A group of us had jumped on a train in Edinburgh to go to Glasgow but didn't know that it was via Motherwell.

The club should introduce a 'Rogues Gallery' in each of the home stands with photos of fans sneaking in late and leaving early. Name and shame these scoundrels. Besides it would give people something to do during the half time interval (unless they're on their way out already) if they're not queuing for one of the 3 P's. Pie, pee or puff.

In the days of Proper football back in the 70s they would open the gates with about 20 mins to go and a load if people would come in for free...
